- Posting on Boat Gigs is free. We don't sit between you and the captain, so there are no platform fees on either side. The price you and the captain agree on is the price.
- How fast do captains see my delivery?
- The moment you publish, your delivery is live in the captain feed. Captains who fit your route reach out with a short pitch and their qualifications, and you decide who to accept.
- Who can post a yacht delivery job?
- Anyone with a free Boat Gigs account can post a delivery. Yacht owners, brokerages, charter companies, and management firms all use the platform to find qualified captains and crew.
- How do I check whether a captain is qualified?
- Every captain has a public profile with their licences, the boats they've sailed, miles logged, and history on the platform. You read it, message them, get on a call, and decide who delivers your boat. Bad actors can be blocked permanently, they won't see your deliveries again.
- What types of work can I find on Boat Gigs?
- Yacht deliveries are the core, but you'll also find captain positions, crew positions, charter work, and maintenance jobs. Filter by work type to narrow down.
- Is the poster's identity public?
- No. To protect posters from unsolicited contact, only the first three letters of their name are public until they accept a captain. Full contact details are shared after acceptance.
