Delete your account
You can delete your Boat Gigs account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.
How to request deletion
There are two ways:
- In the app or website: open your dashboard, delete any gigs you posted, then email us (see below) from the address on your account to request full account removal.
- By email: send a message to privacy@boat-gigs.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request and delete your account within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- Your profile (username, display name, bio, role, avatar)
- Gigs you posted
- Your subscriptions and messages
What may be kept, and for how long
We may retain a limited amount of data where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, security and abuse-prevention logs). Such data is kept for no longer than 90 days after account deletion and is then permanently removed. We do not sell your data.
