I’m a lifelong hands-on problem solver, diesel technician, U.S. Army combat veteran, and developing sailor focused on building real-world experience through yacht deliveries and passagemaking. My professional background is in diesel and heavy-equipment repair, troubleshooting, maintenance, and shop supervision. I’m comfortable around mechanical and electrical systems, working through problems under pressure, and getting my hands dirty when something needs attention. I currently own and refit my own sailboat and am actively expanding my sailing, navigation, seamanship, and offshore skills with the long-term goal of completing an ocean circumnavigation. I take preparation, watchkeeping, safety, communication, and following the captain’s procedures seriously. I’m 6’6”, physically capable, accustomed to long hours and demanding working conditions, and comfortable being part of a team where everyone contributes. I’m not looking to exaggerate my experience. I’m looking for opportunities to learn from experienced captains, build meaningful sea miles, and be a dependable extra set of hands aboard. For the right delivery, I bring a strong mechanical background, disciplined work ethic, willingness to learn, and the understanding that getting the boat and crew safely to the destination comes before everything else.
